ORDER

S.O. 866(E) :- :- In exercise of the powers, conferred by sub-paragraph (1) of paragraph 3 of the Drugs (Prices Control) Order, 1995 read with the notification of the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers number S.O. 637 (E), dated the September 4, 1997, the National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority hereby fixes the price specified in column (4) of the Table given below as the maximum sale price (exclusive of excise duty and local taxes) at which the bulk drug specified in the corresponding entry in column (2) thereof shall be sold.

2. This order is hereby issued in compliance of the directions contained therein Order No. 5/46/2006-PI-I dated 22/23.01.2007 of the Department of Chemicals & Petro-Chemicals in the Review Application under Para 22 of DPCO 1995 of M/s. Hindustan Antibitotics Ltd., Pimpri, Pune passed by the Department of Chemicals & Petro-Chemicals against the notification no. S.O. 740(E) dated 19.05.2006 of NPPA notifying the price of the Benzathine Penicillin G bulk drug. The price fixed in the said notification is hereby revised, exclusively for the bulk drug Benzathine Penicillin G manufactured by M/s. Hindustan Antibitotics Ltd, with immediate effect.

3.    The price fixed vide notification no. S.O. 740(E) dated 19.05.2006 for the bulk drug Benzathine Penicillin G will not be applicable in respect of this bulk drug manufactured by M/s. Hindustan Antibitotics Ltd., until this order is revised/or rescinded.

4.    M/s. Hindustan Antibiotics Ltd. is required to submit quarterly report on production, captive consumption of bulk drug for production of formulations and sales by 10th January, April, July and October of its preceding quarter to the Govt./NPPA in respect of bulk drug Benzathine Penicillin G

5.    This price/revised price shall be made effective within 15 days from the date of this order as required under sub paragraph (1) of paragraph 14 of Drugs (Prices Control) Order, 1995. The necessary price-list should also be issued as required under sub-paragraph (3) of paragraph 14 of the Drugs (Prices Control) Order, 1995.
