The NPPA has revised/ fixed the prices of 6 formulation packs of Doxycycline Hyclate on 9th March, 2004. These ceiling prices have been fixed for the first time. Doxycycline formulations are used in various treatments/ diseases like respiratory, genito-urinary, dental, ophthalmic, ENT and gynaecological infections, venereal diseases etc.

The prices have been fixed/ revised in accordance with the provisions of the DPCO, 1995. The prices fixed/revised would become effective within 15 days and the manufacturers are required to issue the supplementary price list in Form-V to NPPA, State Drugs Controllers and Dealers.
