Subject: DPCO, 1995-Fixation/revision of price of bulk drug
Cloxacillin Sodium (Sterile)

NPPA has revised the price of bulk drug Cloxacillin Sodium (Sterile) from Rs. 4417/Kg to Rs. 1890/ Kg, vide notification in the Gazette of India Extraordinary Nos. S.O. 723(E) dated 2nd August, 2000. The price revision has been carried out based on available information under para 11 of DPCO, 1995. A copy of the same is enclosed. The notification is also available on the NPPA website www.nppaindia.com.

The revised notified price shall become effective within 15 days from the date of notification in the Official Gazette. All the manufacturers of the formulations utilising this drug in their scheduled formulations are advised to follow the provisions of DPCO, 1995 with regard to pricing of the derivative formulations.
