Subject: Complaint with respect to scheduled formulations.

The National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority has been receiving complaint regarding sale of scheduled formulations at a price higher than notified price and marketing of scheduled formulations without prior price approval. It is observed that mostly such complaints lacks sufficient information/supporting documents required establishing the facts and taking appropriate action against the defaulting companies.

In the absence of the sufficient information and supporting documents, this office finds it difficult to process these cases for its logical conclusion.

In this background and in larger public interest, all NGOs/Inntitutions/Co-opetative Societies are requested to provide following details while submitting complaints to this Authority.

1 Name of Formulation
2 Sample Strips
3 Cash Memo
4 Composition of Formulation
5 Batch No. of Formulation
6 Manufacturing Date of Formulation
7 MRP of Formulation
8 Name and address of the manufacturer.

The above mentioned details / information will help the Authority in taking expeditious necessary action on complaints.
