Sub: Disposal of Ambassador Car No. DL 2CH 4472 of NPPA , Deptt. of Chemicals and Petrochemicals invitation of sealed bids – reg.

Terms and Conditions

            The vehicle will be available for inspection between 3.30 P.M to 5.00 P.M between 26.12.2005 to 2.1.2006 in the office compound of YMCA Cultural Centre Building , 1, Jai Singh Road, New Delhi-110001.

  1. The vehicle put up for disposal is entirely on “As is where is” basis.
  1. Bids/offer should accompany a Demand Draft of Rs. 5000/- as earnest money, drawn in favour of PAO (NPPA ), Deptt. of Chemicals and Petrochemicals, New Delhi.
  1. Sealed offers must reach Under Secretary (Admn.), NPPA , 5th floor, YMCA Cultural Centre Building, 1 Jai Singh Road, New Delhi-1 by 12.00 Noon on 3.1.2006.
  1. Bids/offer not accompanied with the requisite Demand Draft will not be considered /entertained ab-initio.  The Demand Draft of the unsuccessful bidders would be returned to them after completion of the formalities in this regard.
  1. The sealed offers will be opened on 3.1.2006 at 4.00 P.M in the presence of these bidders who wants to be present.
  1. The successful bidders would be required to make full payment of the bid/offered amount by cash /demand draft positively before 2.00 P.M on 4.1.2006 before the delivery of the vehicle is given, the purchaser would have to furnish documentary proof of his residence and also furnish an affidavit duly sworn on stamp paper of Rs. 10/- stating his credential, citizenship, tax-payer’s status and that the vehicle being purchased is for his bonafide use and also that the registration/ownership thereof would be got transferred from the concerned transport authority in the name of the purchaser.  In the event of his failure so do, the Earnest Money deposited by him would stand forfeited.
  1. After the deposit of entire bid amount and completion of relevant formalities, the successful bidder would be required to remove the vehicle immediately during office hours.  The Department would not owe any responsibility in respect of the vehicle.
  1. It may be noted that Department reserve the sole right of accepting/rejection or all the bids without assigning any reason and also for forfeiture of the earnest money deposit; and no correspondence in such matters would be entertained.
