Dated : 1st April, 2005
The National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority has revised / fixed the prices of 132 formulation packs vide notifications dated 28.03.2005 and 30.03.2005 . Of these, Ceiling Prices in respect of 68 formulation packs have been fixed under DPCO, 1995 based on bulk drugs Ibuprofen (One pack), Pentazocine (Two packs), Benzethine Pencillin G (One Pack) Procain Penicillin G + Sodium Penicillin G (One Pack), Phenyl Butazone (Four Packs), Pyrantel Palmoate (One Pack), Aspirin combination (Nineteen Packs) and Cefadroxyl (Thirty-Nine Packs). The prices of 64 non-ceiling packs which includes 10 imported insulin formulations have also been fixed by the NPPA.
