The National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority has revised/fixed the prices of 38 formulation packs on September 26, 2000. The prices have been fixed for the first time in the case of 13 formulation packs. In the case of one pack the price has been increased by 11.67%. In the case of 24 packs the prices have been revised downwards and decrease ranges from 1.41% to 65.11%. The formulations for which prices have been revised/ fixed are Amoxycillin+Cloxacillin Injections a broad spectrum Antibiotic, Broncoril Syrup an Anti-Asthmatic, Chloroquine Phosphate based formulations used in the treatment of Malaria, Dexamethasone based formulations used in the treatment of Allergy. The revision in prices has occurred due to change in the bulk drug prices. For details please click the following;
