The Drugs (Prices Control) Order, 1995 prescribes some returns to be filed by manufacturers of Bulk Drugs/ Formulations periodically. Non-submission of such statutory returns attracts para 24 of DPCO, 1995 and the manufacturers are liable for prosecution. NPPA has issued a notice in this regard and sent to all State Drugs Controllers and Industry Associations for action.
