What’s New (24-2000)

NPPA has revised the price of bulk drug Famotidine from Rs. 4684/kg. to Rs. 3143/kg. vide notification in the Gazette of India Extraordinary No. 1059(E) dated 28th November, 2000.The above price has been revised on the basis of available information under the provisions of DPCO, 1995.

The revised notified prices shall become effective within 15 days from the date of notification in the Official Gazette. All the manufacturers of the formulations utilising this drug in their scheduled formulations are advised to follow the provisions of DPCO, 1995 with regard to pricing of the derivative formulations.
