Subject :- Revision of prices of bulk drug Cefadroxyl Monohydrate under DPCO, 1995.

NPPA has revised the price of bulk drug Cefadroxyl Monohydrate from Rs. 5475/kg. to Rs. 4732/kg.. vide notification in the Gazette of India Extraordinary No 497 (E) dated 04.06.01. The revision was done based on detailed cost price study done under the provisions of DPCO, 1995. A copy of the notification is enclosed. The notification is also available on the NPPA website www.nppaindia.com.

The revised notified prices shall become effective within 15 days from the date of notification in the Official Gazette. All the manufacturers of the formulations utilizing these drugs in their scheduled formulations are advised to follow the provisions of DPCO, 1995 with regard to pricing of the derivative formulations.
