Consequent upon the appointment of Shri B. S. Baswan as Secretary, Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Shri B.S. Baswan has relinquished the post of Chairman, NPPA on 30th April, 2002 (afternoon) to take up the new assignment. Shri P.K. Mishra, IAS (OR 66) has been posted in his place. He is expected to join very soon.
